UV-3C-S — UV laser marking machine
Cold marking for plastics, glass and electronics — where a fibre laser would burn the surface you are trying to label.

Specifications are being finalised
The UV-3C-S is a UV laser marking machine for plastics, glass and electronics, using a short wavelength that ablates the surface rather than heating it, so the marking does not char, melt or distort the part. Full specifications are available on request.
This page is live ahead of the full parameter sheet so that the product URL, the schema and the search entry are in place. When the manufacturer's UV specification pack arrives we will publish power, field size, wavelength, cooling and marking samples here.
If you are marking plastics, glass or electronics now and need an answer before the sheet is published, send us the material — we can usually confirm feasibility and a lead time within a day.
Why UV
Where a fibre laser fails and UV does not
Cold ablation
UV photons break bonds instead of dumping heat, so the surrounding material does not melt, warp or discolour.
Built for plastics and glass
The materials a 1064 nm fibre marker struggles with — white plastics, transparent glass, thin films — are the ones UV handles cleanly.
Electronics-friendly
Low heat-affected zone means you can mark close to components, connectors and coatings without collateral damage.
High contrast, fine detail
Short wavelength gives a tight spot, so fine text, small 2D codes and high-density serials stay legible.
FAQ
UV-3C-S questions
What are the full specifications?
We are finalising the parameter sheet for this model. Send us your material and what you need to mark and we will return the current specification, sample-marking options and lead time directly.
Why UV instead of fibre?
Because fibre lasers heat the surface. On white plastics, transparent glass or thin films that heat shows up as charring, bubbling or distortion. UV ablates instead of heating, so the mark is clean and the part is unaffected.
